What is Communication?
"Communication" is a word with a rich history. From the Latin "communicare", meaning to impart, share, or make common. The key root is mun- (not uni-), related to such words as "munificent," "community," "meaning," and Gemeinschaft. In Latin, communicatio did not signify the general arts of human connection via symbols, nor did it suggest the hope for some kind of mutual recognition. Its sense was not in the least mentalistic: communicatio generally involved tangibles."
Communication does not only conveys to oral or spoken verbal communication, it also includes the nonverbal where gesture, hap tics, facial expression, body posture; and object communication like symbols, paintings, info graphics, music, dance can generate meanings and information.
Louis A. Allen once said, "Communication is the sum of all the things one person does when he wants to create understanding in the mind of another. It is a bridge of meaning. It involves a systematic and continuous process of telling, listening and understanding."
I believe that our modern and systematic world will become turbulent if such thing happened. Everyone will live their lives in their own ways and there will never be unity and peace.
Life without communication is meaningless, I guess it is really just impossible to live without having any kind of communication. It just goes with the saying that "No man is an island", no one can ever live alone, let alone talk to no one for a couple of hours.
Therefore, we should know how to communicate properly. Communication is where we share our thoughts and ideas that will help us to grow everyday in our lives. We should know how to value it and keep it existing between us and everyone. Through this each and everyone of us can live harmoniously.

How will life be without it?
No talking, nothing to listen to, to read, to draw, to hear, or to see, for me that is what I imagine if there will be a full absence of communication in our life. It is just like being dead, the only difference is that our hearts our beating, but we don't even know what it means. Or perhaps, if not dead we might as well go insane.Louis A.
